This place is a real find for delicious Mexican food and their salsa maybe one of the best in central Illinois. It is a family business and salsa is homemade. There are vegan options and vegetarian options (I totally appreciate that!) the service was outstanding !! It would be worth a drive to eat lunch or dinner -- we will be back!
We were traveling on Route 51 and looking for a lunch option and a vegan option. This place had Great food, service and friendly atmosphere! Stop in and you won't be disappointed. Not much to look at on the outside but nicer inside and the menu is diverse! Great vegetarian selection that can be modified to vegan!

Honestly, I didnt think much going into this place. To be REALLY honest, I thought for certain it was a bad decision to walk in this place. I couldn't have been more wrong. You are warmly greeted at the door and lead to a nice table. They give you free chips and salsa and it has great ambiance. We ordered Margaritas (obviously) and they were really good. Being from Chicago we take our mexican food seriously and when I saw Chimichanga i needed to make sure they were legit. I got the steak chimi and it was delicious. I also ordered the Tamales and they were a little dense however still good. My Wife got the Combo number 1 and she was more than satisfied. She almost licked the plate clean. No wifi but they take card and i would recommend it.
